Rachel Haddad grew up in Grand Rapids, MI and graduated from Miami University (B.A.) and the University of Michigan (M.A.). Upon graduation, Rachel taught Advanced Placement English in the District of Columbia's Public Schools. In 2010, Rachel and her husband moved to Doha, Qatar where she taught at a private international academy. Rachel returned to Michigan in 2014 and is excited to be part of the teaching team at Kent Innovation High School, and in particular, about the real world practicality and creativity in project based learning. In addition to teaching, Rachel spends her time with her husband and two little boys and enjoys traveling, hiking, and writing.
